El pasado 20 de junio de 2024, la Universidad Abat Oliba CEU celebr\u00f3 el evento \u00abLecturas que unen\u00bb, bajo la colaboraci\u00f3n conjunta de Biblioteca, Servei de Lleng\u00fces, Facultad de Comunicaci\u00f3n, Educaci\u00f3n y Humanidades, Ayuntamiento de Barcelona y la Asociaci\u00f3n Ve\u00efnal de Sant Gervasi \u2013 la Bonanova.<\/p>\n

La ling\u00fcista y profesora Dra. Nuria G\u00f3mez dinamiz\u00f3 la sesi\u00f3n de manera excepcional, resaltando los valores y aportaciones educativas y de conexi\u00f3n humana presentes en el libro \u00abCometas en el cielo\u00bb de Khaled Hosseini, una novela conmovedora que, tras su publicaci\u00f3n en 2004, ha sido un referente en la literatura sobre Afganist\u00e1n. Khaled Hosseini, habiendo vivido muchos de los eventos hist\u00f3ricos descritos, cre\u00f3 una narrativa rica en temas como la lealtad, el afecto paternal, el cari\u00f1o, la p\u00e9rdida, los remordimientos y los privilegios sociales<\/span> y la adaptaci\u00f3n de los refugiados. La profesora G\u00f3mez abri\u00f3 el debate a partir de la sinopsis de la novela: el protagonista, Amir, vive su infancia en el Afganist\u00e1n de los a\u00f1os sesenta, en una amistad fraternal con su sirviente Hassan. La trama se complica con la invasi\u00f3n rusa y el exilio de Amir y su padre a Estados Unidos. Ya adulto, Amir debe reconciliarse con su pasado y su ni\u00f1ez cuando recibe una llamada de Rahim Khan, que lo insta a regresar a un Afganist\u00e1n devastado por los talibanes.<\/span><\/p>\n

La comunidad universitaria disfrut\u00f3 de un evento enriquecedor que concluy\u00f3 con un sencillo refrigerio. El pr\u00f3ximo a\u00f1o, el club continuar\u00e1 con m\u00e1s propuestas de dinamizaci\u00f3n cultural, tanto en el \u00e1mbito universitario como en el entorno de la ciudad de Barcelona y,\u00a0 concretamente, en el barrio de Sant Gervasi.<\/p>\n
