Una reciente revisi\u00f3n sistem\u00e1tica ha confirmado que la realizaci\u00f3n de actividad f\u00edsica en esta etapa es una estrategia vital para desarrollar una buena estructura \u00f3sea.<\/p>\n<p><strong>La osteoporosis es una enfermedad que debemos prevenir y tenemos las herramientas para hacerlo<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-2155\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.uao.es\/deportes\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/18\/2017\/11\/treatment-1327811_1920-1024x680.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"565\" height=\"375\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.uao.es\/deportes\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/18\/2017\/11\/treatment-1327811_1920-1024x680.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/blogs.uao.es\/deportes\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/18\/2017\/11\/treatment-1327811_1920-300x199.jpg 300w, https:\/\/blogs.uao.es\/deportes\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/18\/2017\/11\/treatment-1327811_1920-768x510.jpg 768w, https:\/\/blogs.uao.es\/deportes\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/18\/2017\/11\/treatment-1327811_1920-272x182.jpg 272w, https:\/\/blogs.uao.es\/deportes\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/18\/2017\/11\/treatment-1327811_1920.jpg 1920w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 565px) 100vw, 565px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>La osteoporosis es una enfermedad esquel\u00e9tica sist\u00e9mica progresiva marcada por una baja masa \u00f3sea y un deterioro micro-arquitectural del tejido \u00f3seo, lo que conlleva fragilidad \u00f3sea y en consecuencia mayor susceptibilidad a la fractura.<\/p>\n<p>La incidencia de osteoporosis aumenta exponencialmente con el avance de la edad y suele ser silenciosa, sin signos ni s\u00edntomas de disminuci\u00f3n de la densidad \u00f3sea, lo que la hace m\u00e1s imprevisible.<\/p>\n<p>La fractura \u00f3sea suele presentarse como la primera presentaci\u00f3n de la osteoporosis, atribuy\u00e9ndose a esta enfermedad, a su vez, una morbilidad y unos costes significativos, adem\u00e1s de una calidad de vida reducida.<\/p>\n<p>De manera que <strong>las estrategias preventivas son un primer paso esencial para superar este problema global<\/strong>. La prevenci\u00f3n de la osteoporosis se lleva a cabo maximizando la acumulaci\u00f3n de tejido \u00f3seo durante los a\u00f1os de crecimiento, manteniendo la adquisici\u00f3n de tejido \u00f3seo durante la edad adulta y reduciendo la p\u00e9rdida \u00f3sea en ancianos.<\/p>\n<p><strong>La adolescencia como etapa crucial para nuestros huesos<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Durante la adolescencia se produce una acumulaci\u00f3n de mineral \u00f3seo, el cual contin\u00faa acumul\u00e1ndose hasta que se logra el pico de masa \u00f3sea, el cual se refiere a la acumulaci\u00f3n m\u00e1xima de masa y fuerza \u00f3sea depositada en la vida de una persona al final del per\u00edodo de crecimiento<\/p>\n<p><strong>Clave para prevenir este tipo de enfermedades, la actividad f\u00edsica en la adolescencia<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Es en esta etapa, la adolescencia, cuando se puede maximizar la masa \u00f3sea m\u00e1xima, es decir, obtener el pico de masa \u00f3sea m\u00e1s elevado posible.
