International Congress Word in Education
The Congress is planned as a continuation of a series of conferences initiated in the Abat Oliba CEU University in Barcelona by Dr. Marcin Kazmierczak and other members of the Research Group Family, Education and Inclusive School (Trivium): Dr. María Teresa Signes, Dr. Amparo Acereda and Dr. Laura Amado. The previous congresses were held in 2012, 2013, 2015 in Barcelona (Spain), 2016 in Krakow (Poland) and 2018 in Barcelona. The 2015 and 2016 Congresses involved the cooperation of the Jesuit University Ignatianum in Krakow, represented by the Dean of the Faculty of Education Dr. Krzysztof Biel SJ, and the University of Namur, represented by Dr. Evelyne Charlier, Head of the Department of Education and Technology.
This Congress’ 2019 edition involves the cooperation of the IPC – Facultés Libres de Philosophie et de Psychologie in Paris represented by the Dean Michel Boyancé, as well as the cooperation of the Jesuit University Ignatianum in Krakow, represented by the Dean of the Faculty of Education Dr. Krzysztof Biel SJ. It aims to bring together education experts, philosophers of education, psychologists, literary scholars, art historians and theatre scholars to explore thinking about the experience as well as the practice of moral education. Both theoretical and empirical studies are welcome.
In order to participate in the Congress, it is required to send the title and the abstract of the lecture (max. 100 words) to the electronic address firstname.lastname@example.org before the 14th of December of 2018*. Papers must be between 3.500 and 4.500 words and may be sent to the aforementioned electronic address. The publication of the lectures in the Congress Proceedings may be left to the Scientific Committee’s decision.
